In order to overcome this problem we have identified some critical texts for pre-reading which are linked below. We are also asking that you do some preliminary writing as a way of commencing your engagement with the key topics to be discussed in this course.
You will find below a series of suggested writing exercises. It will help your learning at the course if you complete these writing tasks. It will also help us to learn more about you and your work and the kinds of issues you are concerned about.
We recognise that you will not have had much notice of these pre-readings and writing exercises before attending the IPHU course and perhaps will not have time to do all of the exercises.
Please treat Exercises 1 and 2 as core. We really want you to do these two exercises.
Please try to work through all of the readings even if you are unable to do any more written exercises.
Please try to do one of the remaining written exercises.
